i just wondered how long was the walks from the bus to the sites?my mom has bad knees so i dont know if she can handle the long walks?
@lumpialife15 күн бұрын
Some of the stops there was some walking to get close to the site (museum and Royal Palace). Other stops were hop on hop off. The guide does a lot of history and tourism talk between sites. The bus stairs were a little steep. I hope this helps.

My father was from Cabuan, born and raised there. He emigrated here in Cebu City during the 50s. But from time to time while he's still around, he used to come over to visit his hometown and relatives there especially during fiestas. The last time we visited the place was during the late 1990s. This vid brings back a lot of memories of my dad and our travels to his hometown... God bless you Sir ❤

Gotta applaud you guys! Wife and I always said it's too rough and remote for us! Doubt with what we're use too could even live there now. Have you guys considered Manilla? Makati or BGC. If you don't want to buy a property and rent, life is still slightly cheaper there than back in the US.

I couldn't see myself bringing my American spouse to live in the Philippines. It is fun for a while but it can get boring. I don't want to take away my husband's independence away from him and besides the Health Services aren't not good at all. You and your wife made the right decision to go back. Good luck! We are originally from the Oregon/ Washington State area.

You made the choice my man!Getting old is something you cannot avoid!As we get older,we don’t know what health issues we may encounter.Though there are great medical facilities in the Philippines,and cheap too,it’s a matter of economics.US health insurance are not covered there.The greatest peace you can ever have is a peace of mind,knowing that you’re in safe hand in the event you need urgent medical attention in the US.Good luck and keep on enjoying your retirement.

Welcome back to Oregon, things are slightly on the upswing here, the gov. overturned the law that made hard drugs not illegal anymore. I think they are tackling the homeless issue and they voted out the worthles DA in Multnomah county. As someone who has lived in Oregon their whole life and does occasional videos on my vacations I don't think there is a more beautiful place to be (I've traveled half the US). You have the coast, the forests, the dunes, all things you can make videos on. Wish you the best of luck, from a fellow Oregonian :)
