This seems to be using a USI pen so there should be USI pen tips sold as it's quite a common type of pen. Or just ask the company just in case.

Great review! I recently bought an HP Spectre X360 16" and I miss having some key functionality when I use it in tablet mode. This could be a great solution. I was looking at some programmable one-handed gaming keyboards with macros as potential options as well. I like the wheel and compact nature of this XP-Pen version though. I'll have to do some research. Thanks for the review!

Idk but I think for this model specifically (the artist 2nd gen), the smaller one is more worth it for its price point, maybe like the 10 to 14 inch one. The spec is adequate at best, and the major selling point is the cute pastel color it came with. So its not only functional, but it can be a nice decoration for your desk aesthetics. Its also got pretty simple feature which is a good graphic tablet for beginners. But for 16 inch and above, idk if its worth it. Cuz most of ppl who need bigger size tablet usually already a professional who needs more advanced specs and feature, and not really care about the colors, so I think there are other brand with better specs for more or less the same price. But hey for each their own I guess 🙈

I believe the Viwoods has a faster processor than the Boox Note Air series - did you try any third-party drawing apps on it (hopefully with refresh set to ultra-fast)? Also, all of these e-ink tablets seem to struggle with exporting files that accurately (or adequately) reflect a shaded image seen on the display. Have you tried to export drawings from the Viwoods in any format?

3rd party apps will have noticeable lag and latency. For export, you can use PNG or PDF

Was looking forward to this release from Huion and it does indeed look promising. I've been wanting to change my setup to something more convenient. Currently I have the latest cintiq pro (which is huge, heavy and inconvenient) and a small old generation intous tablet (which is too small). This Kamvas model is a perfect in between. Can you reach the right top corner of the tablet? I bought a brand new Kamvas Pro 16 2.5k, work super fine BUT I can't reach the date and time at the top right corner bar on Mac for example. Even if I calibrate the tablet that upper part ir not reachable like all the others corners. (I have 4 days to request a refund) Is this a normal behavior ? On this new model, you can reach 100% of the tablet with no problem?

@@teohontech7141 Thank you very much, you always help me with the answers. I noticed that my model have a limitation. It don't cover 100% os the screen, even with the drive and application set (both on Mac and Windows). Is like I have an empty gap on both sides, is minimal but is there. I can even with the Huion App move the area rectangle selection. I think this help with this issue. Anyway, Im thinking in return my tablet because of this, and then buy this new model to be more secure.

I won't draw on this screen because the pen performance is bad. But you can certainly connect a pen display or pen tablet for better drawing performance.

I've not reviewed that many displays to be able to make that video. Generally speaking, if you need colour accuracy, just go with companies that advertise AdobeRGB prominently because that's a huge selling point for colour accurate monitors.

Thank you for an incredibly thorough review! Huion is really stepping up their game. I'm new to, well, new tablets, and I 100% agree the screens should be calibrated. I recently bought the (now old) 16 2.5k display and the colors were bonkers out of the box. I've been clinging to my ancient Cintiq 22HD for nearly a decade as a point of reference. :'D I'd be curious how the Gen 3 vs the GT1602 look side by side!

When it comes to the pen, which is better? Pad 6 or the Pad 6s pro? Afaik the pad 6 has wobbly line issues but I'm not sure about the latency on the pro version.

Not sure people will be listen to 100% volume to make such a test any useful. Battery life with ANC is 4+ hours so that's quite standard and good enough (for a full movie)

You mean for this pen display? You can just use the original plastic or felt nibs. They are cheap to replace anyway. If you draw with heavy pressure, you can adjust the pressure curve so you don’t have to press so hard

I have no experience with iPad pro, but I've seen others use it. The way the anti glare glass makes the display slightly less sharp reminds me of how iPad Pro's look (or is that an additional film on top?). Am I on to something?

Matte surfaces may make the display less sharp. The amount of softness varies.

Many people have complained of their palm leaving marks on the screen. I have solved this by buying soft work gloves from the dollar tree and cutting the thumb and first and second fingers. I don't get any marks with these soft fabric gloves. You can even use both left and right gloves since you don't need the thumb. The glove that came with the tablet leaves marks because there is stitching along the edge that contacts the screen.

I've not tested Wacom products for many years so i can't say much about Wacom. For the Huion, pen pressure is good. It's almost like drawing with a wooden pencil where you can get the faintest of line with minimal pressure.

The Xiaomi has a 3:2 screen, which is pretty much unknown to the Android world. I'm still not sure about having that aspect ratio since it never works well for video.

Line quality seems to be very very slightly worse on MacOs compared to WIndows.
