I think being in Alanis’ touring band was made Taylor Hawkins a star.. I didn’t think he’d leave this band for the Foos..but Dave was desperate to find someone.. and Taylor jumped at the Foos job. I don’t know how Alanis felt about losing her backbone to the Foo Fighters.

I hear so much neil peart from rush in taylors drumming. Neil was his main inspiration. I had no idea he was in her band until he died. Was he the one that played on this album?

Yes Taylor was the drummer for Jagged Little Pill. One of the best female albums ever.

Taylor almost took the show from Allanis. His posture and power on the kit can take the audiences eye off of the one in front. Just watching him play is a show itself. Rip

Taylor held this down SO well! They studio drums were programmed. I think the recorded album would’ve been great with Taylor on drums
