It's so painful when you get stuck being a slow driver on that road. Great road when you can take advantage of it.

I can see that will be the next road to close. Every week I go along it, it seems to be a bit worse. Hair raising on the top of a bus.

Lived on the island for 73 years and that’s Morrisons to lake to Apse heath turn left to go Godshill , via the Shanklin turn , done it thousands of times 😊👍

I really enjoy this series having been born and brought up on the Island and visited most years until 2019. The highways I recognise easily, but some of the byways are new to me. I wonder if it is possible to add a caption on the screen when some of these remote areas are covered. I download the files to watch on my television and cannot easily access the descriptions you provide. I did admire your driving skills negotiating that awful lane to Atherfield. Thank you for your splendid efforts.

The biggest two threats to bikers on the island are old people driving and pheasants!

I have only just found your posts, I rather like them, but I do have one criticism. When you do your,' chasing the sun', posts, coild you actually drive to somewhere, you/we can actually see the sun going down over the ocean or land! But apart from that quibble, it reminds me of my brother and I cycling around the Isle of Wight in the late nineties!😊

They still have not completed work on that pedestrian path near the bridge in Lake.

Great video, thank you I got lost a bit at the beginning because I thought you were going through Lower Hyde towards Ventnor which didn't make sense. Then you came out opposite Shanklin railway station and I knew where you were!

Nice drive. The few times i've used the Coppins roundabout i've somehow at some stage gotten into the wrong lane : ) I like to see these smaller roads, lanes etc. And the island on miserable weather days....all adds to the aura of the place!

Well, i for one like these kinda driving videos. I love the IoW, especially Ventnor and vicinity, and more so the areas that a lot of times aren't covered. I stay with friends in Upper Ventnor, and always like to see it, even if it's a drive by, lol.

Really enjoyed this video. Many drivers are very inconsiderate towards you in not giving way. See it a lot on the normal buses, annoying.
