I have had a broken “Gear Ratchet” 14mm socket for almost 15 years now out of a kit I bought 20 years ago when it wasnt Gear Wrench. I have been using that split 14mm for the past 15 years honestly without issue I finally decided to get it warrantied but when I contacted them they told me they didnt make that socket anymore They gave me a part number to put into the warranty form 3 days later an entire Serpentine Belt Gear Ratchet set showed up in the mail because it included the part number they dont make on its own anymore. Absolutely awesome customer service experience.

I have some craftsman sockets that are laser etched, but do not have the engraving into the metal, what does anyone know about those sockets?

There just the later version sockets. Might not have the roll stamping for cost cutting.

Do you know if Stanley sells a rebuild kit for this ratchet? I broke mine years ago being stupid. I want to fix it and use it again. It's a nice ratchet, I like it.

I'm not sure you can alway exchange if for a new one or they will give you the closest model to it.

It overloads because you put way too much pressure it seems.. it's not a full size grinder for you to be putting that much pressure..

It did help but 2 months later all the buttons stopped working on the front . I throw it away and bought the beautiful one they sell at walmart. I got about 10 years out of the Starbucks one. I dont think they sell that rubber gasket by itself. I did find the whole piece on ebay used tho.

I would just take it to lowes or ace hardware and trade it in for a new one. Im not sure if it is able to be taken apart?

I got my Sparta. Its in mint condition. Tight flex-head. Just wanted to update you on a hack to make it better. I ordered Vintage PENNCRAFT 3/8” Drive Ratchet Thumb Wheel Quick Release 3679 USA You can also get a Husky version (all made by New Britain) Now i have less back drag, a quick release and a thumbwheel!

Thanks brother, I like dual head ratchets. The aft head makes a good handle. Regarding the warranty, I've only had one Harbor Freight ratchet (of many) fail and as usual, they replaced it no questions asked. On the other hand, I've endured more new Craftsman and Husky ratchets fail. I've never had a vintage ratchet fail. God bless.

Those big fat plastic grips are cumbersome and only serve to get in the way - just a thin vinyl coating is much better.

Hi there, I have a question: Which settings are you using for the brightness of your Gamepad? I just received this battery, but mine only lasts 6 hours till the light turns red, instead of the 12 hours I heard about on Amazon. Might that be due to the power-saving mode being turned off? Im not sure I would have to go look, but turning on the power saving mode definitely should help on the battery life.

It's my sons bike. I let him build it the way he wants to build it. Yes, he sprayed it silver. He still has not found bars for it yet. I just looked at the bike and there are no decals on the handlebars. Are you sure the video is of the same bike?

Used these for years almost every day and they held up perfectly. Probably the best hex sockets for the price. That being said, I recently upgraded to kokens and they definitely fit more snugly into fasteners.

Made in USA, same grip as the mac grip pry bars so i'm assuming these are OEM'd by Mayhew just like the Macs. I'm pretty sure these do have the metal striking caps on the end too if you give them a light tap with something metallic you will hear that. I think this has to be the first video of its kind show casing these which is awesome because they are sleepers for the money. I have no idea why proto would go backwards and be using those yellow acetate grandpa handles over these ones which are much more ergonomic and aesthetically pleasing all around.

I rewatched the video and I was talking about the USB on the end that plugs into the charging block witch is a usb-a, I never talked about the end that plugs into the screwdriver itself witch is a micro usb. I learned something new today. There are 5 different types of usb's.
