It’s not about how long it is, it’s about how you use it… Or so I’ve heard ;) But yes it’s a looong aircraft, especially for SZG.

have you been to the observation hill on the south end of the runway?

Of course I have been there, many of our earlier videos are from the northern end of the runway. My main problem with the main observation hill in the south is access, since it becomes a muddy mess in wintertime. There is another hill in the south-east of the field I would recommend it for watching and taking pictures. Though it has too many trees for videos which sucks because the views would be spectacular. Anyways that’s the reason why essentially all our videos are shot from the visitor deck.

If Blue Air was still operating her, this wouldn't happen. Idc about what ppl were gonna Say but im so mad at Airseven, but on Blue Air too BC they sell Most of Their B731, B733, B734, B735 And b737. Great catch And hoping that She will be treated better!

Glad you liked the video! I‘m curious though, how exactly would a airline (any airline for that matter) influence the occurrence of a birdstrike? I think it was a very deliberate and informed decision not to operate the outbound flight that night and put safety first. [On newer photos of the aircraft the nose appears to have been patched since]

@@LOWSspotting Look, when an airline buys a plane, they have to choose a maintenance company for it. blue air chose romaero, as did Corendon, fly2sky, tarom, etc. But airseven chose another maintenance company even if the recommendations were Romaero. An A320 fly2sky had to make a stop in Bucharest yesterday to be transferred to another company. today, it came out like new. in 2005, yr-bas (oy-asb now) had a big overrun at otp. it didn't have much damage, but when it came out of the romaero it was like new and ready to fly. this means that when airseven painted oy-asb (yr-bas) in their livery they didn't do the checks well.

I am fully aware of the importance of a high quality maintenance provider, however, when a massive bird hits your plane and the airport you’re going in to does not have the necessary know-how on hand to insure the nose structure is indeed airworthy, it’s hardly on the airline nor their maintenance team/provider. It’s just plain bad luck. I was there, and I can say that A LOT of people of both airline and airport inspected the damage before reaching the (very inconvenient) decision to not fly the aircraft.

We had such winds landing in greece for my graduation holiday. Our Austrian pilot ace still made it in the first try. As someone who had flown several times by then (and experienced turbulence, etc.) I was relatively relaxed, but those of my peers who flew for the first time were freaking out. After us landed a german plane in the 4th try with graduation holiday kids from Germany. All of those were done with life, drenched in sweat from top to bottom, some crying, some saying thanks that they were still alive, etc. We had to cross the sea to another island on a ferry that day, which did not happen, because the ferry could not dock since the wind kept blowing it away from the dock (even tho basically the whole town had come try help pull the ferry in with the ropes), so after about 45 minutes of trying they diverted the ferry to another island where the wind could not effect the docking as much. So we spent our first night on the wrong island :-p

Priority boarding I once had them drive us (priority boarding group) literally 20 Meters from gate to plane, so when the last priority pax actually boarded ‘regular’ boarding pax were already waiting to board, evidently walking 20 Meters is faster than getting on and off a bus for the same distance /end of story time ;)

Schöne Timelapse von dieser Rarität! Machen die dann trotzdem einen Pushback aus der Position oder darf die Avro so rausrollen in SZG?

Dankeschön, wenn ich mich recht erinnere sind die Avro selbst aus der Parkposition gerollt. Selten sind sie am Vorfeld Nord geparkt worden, dort wurden sie (meiner Erinnerung nach) heraus gepusht.
