I use bcy serving, with a diameter of 0.16 for tying nocking point ..good grip on the serving center..make sure to scratch the string serving with a little on the hot melt, so that the string serving is grip on the center serving and don't use any glue, it can damage the center serving..

Is 1/8 is standart measurement for the lower point? Tnanks.

Hi! that can be used as a starting point for your first nocking point position. Subsequently after tuning, your nocking point might or might not change position.

It's easy to see why people like this thumb released so much. I have the Longneck version in Blackout color phase. It is my backup release. I just prefer the SX-3. Feels better in my hand in the size medium & the Perfex in size large feels a little small & light.

I think I'm gonna order the Large Perfex in heavy metal.... did you try that one? heavier and might feel more solid.
@josephtreadlightly56863 жыл бұрын
@@kee7678 Probably a good choice. The SX-3 is so nice that I was a little surprised that the Perfex in large felt a little light. The SX-3 & I just bonded cuz of the shelf it has for my pinkie. The Perfex is a great release.

@@josephtreadlightly5686 Thks. I have mine and tried to switch out the drums to go to the larger one, but there is no screw to turn inside, like the smaller drum has. No rattling sound with the larger one like the small drum. I sent an email out to ask Stan about it. It also gets pretty slippery in my hand when it's hot outside. Am I the only one that notices that as I've not heard anybody else mention it. It def takes a while to get used to. I'm a hunter and hope it gets more comfortable for me but I"m told it takes a few weeks of adjusting it over and over to just the right fit with everything.

@@kee7678 I can't believe more people haven't watched this video. There is alot of people out there with the Perfex that swear to it. I took the small barrel off the Perfex & never shot it with it on. Then I fine tuned the 2 screws for tension & travel. Even though I prefer the SX-3 it doesn't have close to the adjustability of the Perfex. When I shoot the Perfex I do it with 4 fingers cuz it feels more natural. When shooting a thumb release I keep my hand open when drawing & settling into my anchor point. Only when I'm @ my anchor do I close my fist, I don't know when the trigger is going to fire which takes away the slapping the trigger. When I switched I didn't shoot an arrow from January to March. In April that year I started training myself to shoot the Stan & a few years later I have developed muscle memory to it. U simply can't get a great & consistent anchor point like u can with a thumb release when u position your 1st & 2nd knuckle on either side of your jaw.

@@josephtreadlightly5686 oK GREAt info. That's almost exactly what I'm doing too in terms of the draw etc and 4 fingers. Did you groups get any tighter? You're hunting too right? Thx for the info!
