What a video of TOTAL crappola... I've lived in the Town for over 41 years...and the Marines were our friends...but not anymore. We veterans and civilians in this Town need permission from the marine corps pricks JUST to home to the homes we've spent hundreds of thousands of dollars on including our real estate taxes... When we bought our homes we were told we'd NEVER have any problems with the base...but now my brother that has lived with me for decades is FORBIDDEN from using the ONLY road into and out of this town. And if a train is stalled on the tracks an ambulance CAN'T even get to us here in the middle of Northern Va... It's ILLEGAL for them to impede out right to travel to and from our homes but they are getting away with it... How about making a video that reaches Millions telling them how the Corps is trying to KILL this town that's been here WAY before anyone even heard of America or a Marine....

Went to Sammy burger last night, burger was ok absolutely nothing to talk about fries and coleslaw which is sold separately were terrible. Tried once would not recommend for burgers. The fries and burger did not look like what was presented in this video at all.

Oh my that is super unfortunate! Not sure if it may have an off night..I have been going there for over 15 years and they have changed ownership but even with that I have always had great food and service Maybe give them one more chance?

Will Embrey Mill Town Center deliver a movie theater that we were promised for so many years? There is no entertainment in this area; the residents crave and demand a movie theater.

Because most realtors don't do anything but allow you to enter the home. Every time i bought a house i had to send the realtor all the options and do most of the work. No respect for realtors, if the MLS was publicly available y'all wouldn't have a job

been here 30 + years, use to be a beautiful country area, not much shopping or family restaurants , Sadly the local government supervisors has totally turned Stafford into just a place btwn work and a place to lay your head. No entertainment here, you have to travel to northern Va or south to Fredericksburg. Do ur homework on the area before jumping in. Traffic can be unbelievable…you can easily set in traffic on the interstate 4 or more hours at a time depending on the day, holiday or weather.. your in restricted airspace and the milary practice there bombing daily. As I mentioned, do your homework before thinking on this area. Stafford use to be a great place to live…back in the day….

Forgot to add there’s no down town no shopping malls. You have to travel to what ever. schools keep getting redistricted the kids keep getting displaced.

My little cottage has doubled on paper last year! I have not done any improvements recently. The new roof was five years ago, so it is simply the market! Get the small neat home here with the yard while you can, the new developments all have huge houses at huge prices!

Beautiful downtown, good restaurants nice vintage spot you could dress vintage daily, walkable and good shop keepers! If you can work for the city or for yourself it is ideal to just live in the Itty Bitty City. There are cultural activities thru the town and University. The homes are beautiful and more expensive than you might think. Parking can be an issue in front of your own historic house but the restaurants have plenty of party in some places........ and the traffic. Also there is a movie house and a big mall nearby.

Growing up in Alexandria and DC and in Stafford now, it is NOT Northern Virginia, it is called "The Northern Neck" get up at 4 am and you can work in DC, but culturally it is quiet, not walkable, not museums, some good restaurants and great super markets. But it is not NOVA! Yes, more house and good schools and quiet parks and a boat that is all possible.

The only few downsides to Stafford are the poor rated schools like Stafford high, hh poole middle, Rodney Thomson and the lack of a cost co, lotte asian grocery and most definitely no planet fitness. If the schools are rated good by the realtors, the homes are worth $2million

Update to this video: As of 2024 Lunga Park is open 7 days a week, sunrise to sunset. Personal watercraft may launch sunrise to sunset with self check-in. Rentals are only available during Boathouse hours. While there, explore the newly built beach volleyball area, General Store & Boat House, playground area, grills for family and unit cookouts, boat dock, pavilions, and watercraft rentals. Onsite tent camping and rustic cabin rentals will be coming soon! Pets are allowed but must remain on a leash. NO wading or swimming allowed at Lunga Park.

Hi Katie! I would say that the values have not doubled but they have no doubt gone up up up! Interest rates yep they have gone up too..not quite doubled but you are right those payments are more today than they were a few years ago. One thing to note is that values have continued to climb and over time will so I would say it is still better to buy now than wait.

There should be more slug lots along Stafford near Exit 140 and Exit 143 B to get people in HOV-3 vehicles for free express lane usage.
