I always get my Assault Mech's up to at least 60 using XL's and the wardog lvl 10 mobility plus. Walking around at 48 is just boring.

@@tommyservo9660 there is a mechanical stop on the upper 1 inch square bar i added, still messing and adjusting. I eventually went with 1 round and 1 flat and drew out another inch of length. Tomorrow I turn it into a nice shaped object (handle defined, tip formed, and blade bevel and taper) all by hammer.

The PilotOverhaul mod is really good for creating a sub-game that allows you to develop much better pilots.

@@krmvustooth5700 Never played on a console so I have no idea, sorry. Can't imagine they would leave that out.

on pc i have all dlcs but none of the perks on same hero mech on1-p, nor the other hero mechs.

I rarely zoom except to pick up on a target so I try for a specific area. I'm playing in 4k and posting in 2160p which is the highest YT will allow. Do me a favor, watch one and when you see the issue comment the specific minute and time in 00:00 format and I'll take a look. Thanks for the feed back.

​@@opa_plays_mw5318 I think what I meant to say is that you've got the game stretched super wide so it's hiding half your weapon bar and objective list. I'm on a phone that can only go up to 1080p so that combined with the W I D E ness that you've got going on makes it really blurry as well.

You are correct, when I check the details it says it it still processing up to HD, no idea why.

Thanks! I try to make this game more enjoyable for everyone, mostly by detailing how to's that make it easier, and more understandable to new players. I taught my then 11 year old by watching over his shoulder for the first 10 missions, then consulting occasionally. He completed the campaign in 3030 his first playthough.

I also play BattleTech, but don't find it to have enough action to video. MW5 is more real time, but also very much strategy and thought, like BT

2.49 a block so less than 40.00, lots of cubby holes to put stuff and it's fireproof. Plus if the forge goes screwy I can kick it over out of the garage.

@@DGneoseeker1 write it off as a bug? they do show up here and there - especially with Bullwark and Adder - my current playthrough locks up if you accept Adder and look for the system he is in.

@@opa_plays_mw5318 I encountered a much worse problem. I had a Dire Wolf covered in plasma rifles. Absolutely disgustingly effective. When I came back to play the game yesterday it forced me to update my mods for them to work with the updated game. And the Dire Wolf vanished. Currently trying desperately to find a mod that adds it back in. Update: Yet another Clan Mech seems to have added the Dire Wolf back in but for some stupid reason my own Dire Wolf still vanished from the game. Thankfully through the use of the F10 key I managed to approximate my build. 6 plasma rifles. I'm not sure if I had more before...

@@DGneoseeker1 could be the particular variant didn't make the cut on the update. I do not allow updates during a play through because of that and unfound bugs. A bit of recovery magic may be found with MW5SaveEditor (May still be on Nexus). it allows you to edit saved games (got to be manual, not auto saves). simply load the game, you can add/delete weapons/equipment/mechs to cold storage (you'll have to build them out), money, change days played etc. I do not use it, but was fun to discover the possible if unlikely. My grandson (12) plays, he completed the hazing of the weak mission - and the ON1-YAJ disappeared - so I gave him one, an xl engine, 3 llas and 2 lrm10's with a 300 engine - after verifying the mission status :) .

Windows 11 displays the option after selecting "new start" under campaign start. The Mod "Advanced Career Start" let's me pick the options as shown - and many more. I can't answer for other platforms. Thanks for watching.

Yeah, truly my favorite mech. Later I find the HGN-Coleen (highlander). 982 armor, 136 alpha. 79kph. I run it in a all HGN lance over several missions.

There is nothing in the lore that refers to it having an engine mounted double heat sink kit, the 3KB was a field refit that dumped the AC5 for a PPC and 3 heatsinks according to the Sarna ref (link at end). My guess is the folks doing the Yet Another Clan Invasion mod looked at the heat level of 2.49 and the (no DHSK) cooling of .8 and added it to make the mech useful. It is not available in the unmodded version of the game. Double heat sinks were around in the star league era (before the sucession wars), then became LosTech (lost technology) and were reinvented in about 3030. As far as I know Double heat sink Kits are an invention of modder's - there is no reference I can find, but they sure are useful ! @@opa_plays_mw5318 Very nice write up, I have also been playing through a similar modded playthrough and have forgone the double heat sink engine kit that these sentinels have to be as Lore appropriate as possible. I figure anything with a double heat sink engine kit would have been a star league relic in which some mechs do spawn like that in my playthrough. This sentinel DHS seemed a little too early for me. Either way love the videos!

Yeah I bought it for infiltrations, but the bottom line is it will be no use at all in Dragon's Gambit DLC missions..so the engine double heat sink got reallocated :) Merry Christmas to you and yours and thanks for watching.
