I had a 76 duster when I was 17. A barn find. I started collecting, getting ready to make it mine. New fenders and quarter panels. Seats and metal to replace the floors. And then the engine caught fire while working on it one night with a friend. Courtesy of the mice lol. By that time it was becoming a headache, and by 18 I sold it and bought a 72 Chevy step side instead. Best truck I ever owned. Now I'm 46 and drive a RAM. I would take that old Chevy over these new vehicles any day of the week

Why don't I have continuous hot. Will a lose "s" post on starter be the problem. No interior sounds, no light, no door buzzer. I'm not understanding how continuous power gets to distribution fuse box

Heat the NUT rather than the threads. Also those impact guns are only rated for 100ftlbs. Get a harbor freight electric one that can do 12 times the torque

Not a good solution. Take a piece of plastic bag and insert it into the shallow socket. It will hold the bolt firmly while driving it. This trick works like a charm
