Appreciate this video on the install for a narrow row planter. Looking forward to hearing the full review on the row cleaners. How was the ride quality?

What's the cost per row unit for those reveal row cleaners? Love your videos bw especially the one where you explain why you like no-till, very educational.

It was about 1250/row 😬, Thank you! It takes a lot more time than you would think to put a good video together so I really appreciate that!

Hi, thanks for your video! I plan to use this kind of tool in my work space, there is a smell like wd40, landlord said it’s a new heater, but it doesn’t seem to go away. I should probably shut the heater off? What about main switch, live it on? Thanks

Was wondering what you used to find the max speeds of the meters at different populations?
This cant be no tilled ???? I see no previously existing rows ? At 4:00 Things are cut in small pieces too ? Stated you put ammonia on last fall.......I see no trenches from the rig. Besides.....that in of itself is tillage. Been there done that. Planting in a field that had ammonia applied is rough ! So...... tillage happened here in some way ! There are root balls on top of the ground. This dont occur when no tilling !
@heartysteer8752 Жыл бұрын
Of course it's no-till. Just because it's such flat ground that they could run the bean head so low that you don't see the rows of bean stubble doesn't mean they aren't there. Straw chopper on the combine cuts the beans into small pieces. That you don't see where the modern ammonia openers sliced through shows that doesn't count as tillage. So obviously you haven't done that. Two year old root balls pop out real easy with the row cleaners.

I guess I can explain more, starting with combining the corn 2 years ago because every detail matters. Our corn head has 360 chain rolls and yetter devastators to accelerate corn stalk residue breakdown. Then rye is seeded with an air seeder. The beans were planted green into that. Right after soybean harvest rye is seeded with the air seeder. A few weeks later after temperatures have dropped we apply nh3 every 30” with a shank that we try to do minimal disturbance. In the spring you can barely see where the knives went. I guess that could be considered tillage but then also the air seeder pass could be considered tillage and even the planter pass for that matter. There’s no root balls I think what you are seeing is chucks of dry cattle manure that was spread. Thanks for the comment!

Jeez, man! He's doing just fine. Don't need to pick nits until the cows come home. No til leaves soil in its natural structure to take in moisture and state. I've worked with notil since the mid'80's. You're doing fine.

Why you guys don’t use multi species biological stimulators with 4 or more family groups is beyond my understanding... there is way too much evidence for its benefits!.. No till is just the first step... Shalom!..

WOW, Cory! I am so glad it was not worse. When our house and shop burned down, I was more concerned about my kitties than anything else, so feel the pain. We are survivors. Maybe you could name one of the survivors NightFlyyer. LOL I received a bell and an email notification about the Duster video, but it does not show up on the video. I have had that before with others, and no one knows why. I tried to reply back but there is no comment on the video to comment to. Anyway, I am thank full for the stuff. I was going to try to fly the Vortex, but being unfamiliar with that radio, I could not figure out how to arm it. Maybe it wouldn't arm inside? My finger still is hard to curl, but it is getting better, so thanks for asking. Thanks again, please be safe, stay well and God Bless you and your family. That was a very good narration of the situation. ~ Dave

It’s a FLIR one that goes on my iPhone, works pretty good I keep finding more uses for it. Checking bearing on the combine, looking for bad insulation spots in buildings, last year It showed me half of my floor heat wasn’t working.

20" rows you run over less going against the row, and use the same GPS lines each time
@ndrwschr10 жыл бұрын
If you are going to use a ground rig to mow over tasseled corn, at least go with the rows. What a waste of a good crop by a lazy operator
@rvpcreative10 жыл бұрын
Actually Andrew, going cross rows is killing less because the wheels will not fit within the rows.
