Sooo 1 year later and i think those numbers are not representive of the real performance! This 3060 ti is overclocked - there is no may it will stock run 90 fps in those settings!

True. Now I run at 120FPS with shadows and reflections at medium, lowering a bit of this vertical FOV... Zero overclock.

O principal é entrar no OculusDebugTools e baixar o FOV para tipo .8 horizontal e mais radical no vertical, .3 ou algo. Aí vai ter um monte de FPS.

80°C + is too high ... i undervolt and overclock my RTX 3060 Ti and on 100% load i am about 63°C max and also have better performance.

i love this game in VR its so optimized and i cant wait to upgrade to a 3060ti soon, i can run this game with a quest 2 at 4000x2000 in steamvr with a gtx 1650 at 72hz reprojected(36fps actual) and it works fine for spotting and IDing but now looking at this gameplay it looks so gorgeous without the jaggy edges and beautiful scenery. definitely exited to run it on maxiumum resolution

Help me out. What is the point of running the game at that resolution when quest 2's resolution is maxed out at 1832x1920 per eye? Am I missing something?

@@falco5150 with VR, theres something called barrel destortion, which is something that is countered by running at 1.5x the actual resolution of the vr headset which means youll need to run games at 2688x2784 to have the full resolution fo the quest 2

Just upgraded to a RTX 3060ti and also use the Quest 2..what a HUGE difference 👏..I can now play in high end settings..👍 I have a Ryzen 9 3900x CPU and 32Gb DDR4 3200mhz ram I'm SO relieved, I was worried the RTX 3060ti wouldn't be much better than my GTX 1660ti. But it Is...SOOOO much better 😁

Above 36 fps almost all the time. With little drops. MSFS2020 in heavily CPU limited, so, 36 FPS isn,t hard to keep. Hard is 60 fps.

Out of focus is the wrong word. You mean soft-edged? To some degree I agree with you, but that is not a deal breaker for me. Yeah REX in P3D is sharp-edged but those are are 2D for Chrissake. You fly past them and they rotate like nuts - so much for "like real". I'd rather have soft-edged clouds that are volumetric, receives light and shadows, casts shadows and simulates icing/temp change/turbulence when you fly through.

You are right but much much more can be done but Asobo locked their clouds so Rex and modders are prevented to fix them, otherwise Asobo would show once again their total lack of understanding they live of planet Earth, just like Asobo A320 vs FBW A320….

Wow!!!! Great. I loved it. If a spit followed a 109 in a dive it's carberator would cut out because it is not fuel injected like the 109. The spit would have to invert in the dive to keep fuel flow. Sad part about the MK 1. Spit. Still is my favorite plane.
