The video is about her feeling the marriage is stale. Theres another guy thats trying to show her the attention shes craving, she's rebuking it. But she ain't a damn super woman. If you dont start showing her some affection, she aint gonna keep pushing him away. But when his partner got shot, he realized life is too short. And he was greatful for the woman he has at home

I went to the concert and it was amazing. Cat was a beast dancing on that stage, Bonnie's vocals were incredible (RIP) and Sheila E's solo was a highlight. The Time was a better band than The Revolution. Miles Davis said Prince outgrew the Revolution

This jam made the latter half of 1989 and the top of 1990 a blast. I had virtually all the remixes that I could get at the time. This was a certified smash all over the place, including here in Barbados for sure!. This was an innovative sound and it came from Britain. Loved the Afro-centrism in the video.

Thank you for this! Def Leppard, Journey and Steve Miller just played on Monday night in my town and I wished I had gone to see them. 😢 I was immediately transported back to high school with this song and I appreciate the ride.

@@faith.s_mom It is when they perform, "It's Gonna Be a Beautiful Night'. Prince did something similar in 1985 when he performed "America" with the Revolution: Bobby Z steps off the drums, Prince puts down his guitar and then he gets on the drums and TEARS THE ROOF OFF THE MUTHA!!! It is on KZbin and in the background is a Red, Black & Green flag! Prince KNEW what time it was Sis! R.I.P. Prince Rogers Nelson.

The S.O.S. Band - Their work with The S.O.S. Band was their most prominent project in 1983. They produced and wrote several hits for the band, including "Just Be Good to Me," which became a massive success and established their reputation as top-notch producers. Klymaxx - Around this time, they were beginning to work with Klymaxx. While their most significant contributions to Klymaxx's music would come a bit later, they were involved in the production of some of their earlier tracks. Change - Jimmy Jam and Terry Lewis worked with the Italian-American group Change, contributing to their album Change of Heart, which was released in 1984. Their involvement in this project likely began in late 1983.

I love this song but the bass need to be lower in the frequency range and the drums needed to be heavier so both bass and drums would vibrate through your chest. 😮😊

NICE! I recall sitting in my bedroom in '87 listening to the former WBLZ 100.3 FM debuting, "Housequake" and it BLEW MY MIND and still does. "Housequake" is like James Brown's, "Hot Pants" on acid - especially with Eric Leeds & Atlanta Bliss' FUNKY Horn riff, the NASTY Bass + Lead Guitar (which is actually a Yamaha synth) line and the distorted double Linn Drum line. If you haven't already, check out the "Housequake: 7 Mins Mo Quake" remix version of the song. Peace and Be Wild.

I was so pissed that he only toured in Europe with this album. The concert movie was great but not enough. Lovesexy made up for it but I would have loved to have seen this. I know the movie was combo of European tour footage and things done on the soundstage at Paisley. ugggghhh what a legend
