This is not a fair comparison. Actually, it's a bit of the old "what you don't know won't hurt you" or our sales. Of course it is going to give better numbers on the dyno with a brand new intercooler fitted because the old Mitsubishi intercooler is full of dirty old engine oil, and after a while it is not as efficient at cooling the Turbo air as it once was. Dirty clogged intercooler = power loss But your magic new PWR intercooler will perform just as inefficiently after the Triton gets a few thousand more K's on the clock. Honestly it doesn't take very long for this to happen to any intercooler on a Triton I could have done this same test & replaced the standard intercooler with another brand new standard OEM Mitsubishi intercooler & the numbers would be almost as good or the same as the PWR version.
