Somewhere in Cornwall😅 and weirdly it doesn’t hold swell at all, about head and a half is max and then the bay just closes out

Hey mate, I had a few lessons when I was about 8-9 on a big foamy and didn’t like it and stopped. Came back to surfing at 14 on a 6’8 Town and County semi gun and haven’t stopped since. The T&C was pretty floaty and worked well as a beginner board, although I would’ve probably progressed quicker on a mal or bigger board. Used that for about 3-4months then went to a 6’0 fish and a 5’10’shortboard..

@@JACKBUCKINGHAM thanks jack I appreciate the response I’ve only been surfing for 1 year and started on a 8’ softtop and progressed down to a 6’6 50l fish shape board and then down to a 6’ 40l board which I am using now although I still don’t know how to turn or pump so I’m not sure whether I progressed down to quick or not but I think I’m now going to go back up to my 7’2 bic surfboard it’s a pretty old mini mal that my dad got me when I was younger but i never picked up surfing until now, he surfs on wave skis so it’s a bit different, I’m pretty sure the bic boards originated in England so you might have heard of them? Do you think going back up to the 7’2 mal will help me start learning to turn and pump?

Boots all year, unless longboarding or somewhere real warm. Had a knee injury 5-6 years ago, landed an air in the flats and both feet slipped on landing making my knees buckle inwards, resulting in a meniscus tear. I reckon if I were wearing boots my feet wouldn’t have slipped😅 just got used to wearing them, i wear them right down so it’s basically just a thin skin on the bottom. ✌️

Was shitty wobbly outgoing tide closeouts, not the best waves, have taken it out since and now I’m used to how small it is it’s real fun! And yeh I like the idea of a performance mid length with some channels, single fin or twin?

@@JACKBUCKINGHAM im dont know a lot about mid , but between single ( if you have the channel it’s will make a 1 + 2 ) or a bonzer maybe héhé 😛 or or make a mccoy nugget kind of board … damn i have too much idea myself.
