Without the organ, synthe, and grand piano it’s not what it should be although nicely translated by the bass and guitar player.

Sorry, I don’t agree with most of the good comments. If Carl wanted to honor the memory of ELP he would have a keyboard player in there playing and not so many guitars. He should ask Rachel Flowers to join the band. Now, that would be a tribute . If I had gone to this concert, I would have been gravely disappointed. Playing trilogy on electric guitar is just a sad joke.

Nice guitar cover of Keith’s phenomenal keyboard composition (but not as nice as the keyboard original), Carl has still got it. When Carl is gone we will start hearing ELP from the sky/heavens 😎

The first time I heard Steely Dan play this live was Sunday April 21, 1974, and the sound was coming out of the open windows of the sports arena at the U. of Toledo, as the band did their soundcheck. Those of us waiting in line outside got to hear it twice that evening. The lead vocal on the bridge ("Well I stepped up on the platform / The man gave me the news") was my introduction to the voice of Michael McDonald. He was so good on that tour that Becker & Fagen made him the featured backing vocalist on their next album, 1975's "Katy Lied." I'll always remember Donald Fagen leaving his keyboard during the long outro and standing centerstage, conducting the band (no horn section or female backing vocalists) like a symphony maestro.

Bravissimi. Ma, ancora una volta apprezzati in maniera significativa soprattutto all'estero e dopo, solita storia, finalmente anche in Italia, con quelli che li scoprono a posteriori ed iniziano con orgoglio, e quant'altro.
