Where are all the elderly Irish those who immigrated to the USA and England in the 1950s and l960s, especially those who do not have families and are alone? Ireland had nothing to offer them then or now.

I love Shane's version of Waltzing Matilda. It's as important in 2024, as it was in 1918. Boys and girls as cannon fodder is insane! RIP Shane McGowan! He had a poet's soul. He was too big a personality for this world. I'm so glad he hung with us and his wife until 67! ❤
