the best timepiece, Ive ever owned...it literally sets itself according to your timezone. All you have to do is set your timezone manuaslly, and the watch takes care of everything else. Sit it on a window pane facing light (Sun), pointing 'West'. But when I bought this watch, I also bought an electric light device, that powers it artificially. Out of the box, I sat it on the device for almost 2 1/2 hrs. And its been fine ever since. I just make sure to leave it on that window pane whenever I take it off. Worried about daylight savings time?...well, the radio signal that the watch receives every night, sets it correctly for DST, too. Dont take it off and put it in a box...it cant continue to store power, if its not absorbing a good amount of light.

Because I can see you pressing the AC but is there a combination of things going on? I say that because it looks like you might be pressing the AC and something else or I could be wrong. I have the same make model and color with the correct 1220 battery. But the watch will not work after attempting to follow the video.

I had to remove a crown gasket in my Addiesdive Submariner, was pretty cool seeing the Miyota 2115 in person. It’s smaller than I had imagined, crazy they can mass produce these quartz movements for so inexpensively. Ridiculously accurate, and reliable too, lasting decades with simple battery swaps. I’m an even bigger fan of quartz now. While I was in there I popped the crystal out, misaligned cyclops, I got it much much closer to perfect alignment. A great beater watch when I don’t feel like abusing the Casio Duro. 👌🏼
