Hello, I've been following you for a while, and did ask a question on one of your previous videos. I understand you are extremely busy running a business, but I emailed your team about getting your advice on how to begin a jewelry business. We can offer the assistance of creating the CAD design from sketches but it depends on a number of factors such as the designs themselves, how busy our CAD designer is and how soon the customer requires the CADs. Either way, we can offer some assistance in finding some CAD designers who would be suitable in creating your CADs. Hello. The fill out form is a neccessary element of our process, allowing our team to gain a better understanding about the customer and if or how we can assist them. What should I say if a manufacturer asks me what cost I want my jewelry to stay around? like, what’s a good cost?

Most factors we (manufacturers) look out for when determining prices is the weight of the item and the other variables such as the complexity of the design, whether there is any plating or stone sourcing and setting. I recommend reseraching other designers that have similar designs to yours, work out what mark up you want to add and therefore your budget in having the jewellery outsourced. Hope that helps :-)

Sorry, I just found your videos and they are quite helpful. I'm a 3D modeler and wanted to take a shot at jewelry designing/3D modeling. I was wondering, that is if you don't have a video on it, on what tips you can give me to enter the jewelry arena. How do I approach a jewelry store to let them know I would like to design pieces for them? I'm studying up on the industry via KZbin so not to go in totally blind, but any advice you have or can direct me to a good article/video on getting into jewelry design via 3D modeling would be excellent.
