I have a Styx Tribute Band I put together over the last few years. We performed 4 shows this summer and fall. I agree with David's point that you HAVE to have good people who are also talented and hard working all for the same outcome. Representing the music and original artists.

I heard you tonight at Sun City. You really touched me. Yes, your music was really good and the performance excellent, but even more you somehow captured the pain, disillusionment and hope that was behind the music of the late 60s and early 70s. Thank you.

These guys are great, and entertaining but one is reminded also how rare, how once in a lifetime Mercury was.

Great interview David ! Was nice to finally hear some of your story ! Had a few conversations with u in text ! My first exposure to u was the Velocity album ! It truly is a lesson in song writing , solos & riffage ! I think a masterpiece & top 5 album ever for m3 ! We just wanted more! 5 years sooner things would have been different ! Best tribute is JBLZE and GTLO. Seen so many of them. However, i have seen Steve (Jimmy Page) play in Big Bear before, i believe if the same guy, and he shreds like the best of them. He is an amazing player and nails it. Just wish he could align with a better lead vocal to capture the Zeppelin sound better. Steve is friggin legit

Don’t think this could be considered the best Zep tribute band. IMHO Led Zeppagain sounds better.

great sound for sure... but without delp, i just don't get that BOSTON vibe.. :( I wanted to.. really i did. Maybe some bands should just end when a cornerstone member leaves or passes. They could have created another band with a different name and moved on... trying to bleed the "BOSTON" tree dry is disrespectful of the original amazing beast.

In 30 years no one will be making covers of Bad Bunny or Rosalia for one simple reason: that "music" lacks soul unlike Styx, Boston, Foreigner, Journey, Toto etc......
