Thank you so much, my mom asked me to crochet her one as a Christmas present. So I'll try to make it with your pattern the next few weeks! On a side note: it's amazing, that the original pattern is quite old, a lovely fact :D Thanks for ' translating' it and sharing with us!

Wow! My aunt had a long commute to work in WWII, and crocheted all the way. The original looks like it was heavily starched for added floof.
@icrochetedthething6 ай бұрын
I starched as well as I could, but I know I don't know the sort of secrets the ladies back then did. They could make anything stand up.

Strange question lol how do you store your yarn? I have a small space.
@icrochetedthething10 ай бұрын
@@rhondashearer3134 I've got one of those hanging compartments in the closet and a lot of little buckets like you'd use in a kid's room. The buckets can stack pretty okay in a pinch. I also really only buy yarn when I know what I'm doing with it, which can lead to a yarn backlog but not a big build up of stuff that never gets used.

Even in the winter time, if you're spending time outdoors and active, you STILL don't want to wear an acrylic top. You need stuff that will wick the sweat away from your body so that when you stop being active you don't get chilled.
