A fantastic singer and a good friend. It's a shame Janis never achieved the stardom she deserved. Her early RCA recordings are classics and the Palette sides are very good.

"Slow Down" was a masterpiece of R&R. This version of JLL's hit sounds rushed and forced. I suspect that those born after 1946 will like this better than those who preceded that year.

Look up on Google who did Johnny B Goode first and they say it was Chuck Berry in 1958???? How can that be when here we have the Collins Kids doing it in 1952???? Think about that when you get info from Google

The Show "Town Hall Party" started in 1952 - this set was in 1958 or 1959.
