We sailed NCL earlier this year for first and what will be our last with them. Many of the same issues you had. Just too many people and no organization. 3 hours in line to board and continued downhill from there. I hope you canceled you next cruise with them.

My least favourite holiday place ...went in 1989 said never go back and some friends had timeshares got great deal we went Aug 2018 1 week cloudy half the time .not a good vibe island for me..been lanzarote ..same hated it it 2 weeks 1 week cloud in June 😢

You did well for the weather on these port days and your excursions looked really good, loved the Volcano hike and the adhoc Madeira taxi tour. I’m with Beth on the toilet situation (Julie) it’s annoying especially if you have to pay and don’t have any coins 😂

Great look around the real Tenerife and loved seeing the old photos when the kids were young. It’s easy to forget which day you have booked something. My greatest mistake was missing a cycle tour down a volcano in Hawaii which I was so excited about not to mention paying a small fortune. It was back in the days when you switched phones off and left them in the safe and to be fair the tour company went above and beyond trying to contact us but we only realised hours after they had left. Glad you didn’t miss your speciality dinner.

Had the best family holiday on Lanzarote in 2002. Did something similar walking up the volcano in the national park plus a camel ride! We have cartoon portraits from there too! Fab island!

Really enjoyed this video, well presented and vey informative. On Azura June 2025 to Italy and Greece, very port intensive itinerary but looking forward to making full use of the facilities on board.

So I ate at the wonderland and it's pretty cool if you're not a picky eater! I was a picky eater at the time and you have to dip the paintbrush in water and basically paint out the menu but it was in like French? And I ordered a burger, but it came on a stick like a kabob with a bunch of sauces on the side. I absolutely hated it since I was a picky eater. Also, did they do the hidden ducks? I went on the cruise for my birthday (March 17) and I don't know if it was a special add on for St. Patrick's Day but there was ducks hidden everywhere and you had to find them!

Fantastic ship tour, very comprehensive and loved the outdoors night shots too, things always look better lit up. Always appreciate the accessibility features you draw attention to as you tour around. The ship is beautiful and considering her age, she still looks amazing and has plenty of space which is the great thing about the older ships. 👏

Really enjoyed this video, really useful showing what happens with whole travel day with flights included. Love overnight in port, one of downsides of cruising generally you don’t get to experience evenings in port. Look forward to the series ahead

By the way, you CAN buy bottled water in port and take it onboard... but we're not sure about alcohol. Anyone know?

Great informative video! I'm booked for next year on Encore and did not know about wards cove. I've checked the schedule for wards cove and it just so happens ship Joy will also be docked on the same day arghh! So that'll be about 7000-8000 passengers getting on the shuttle buses to town.
