They have problems with the water jackets too high.kawi performance does sell a kit $240 to convert to the 310 cooling system

do jetski manuals recommend this? seems like there always is some water somewhere after every weekend run. but probably a good idea before winter storage. and cheap solution!

noi do not think manuals say this but moisture can start rust etc, I suggest at least airing out for 48hrs or more if possible

Good info My 15 310 with SCOM is showing 12psi on the boost gauge I am hitting 69MPH on GPS where I have seen as high as 72MPH I have about 90 hours belt looks good hoses tight. When your bypass failed did it dump all boost or just show less on the gauge like mine?

the flashing " f i " light on the spedo is the "fuel injection" on-board diagnostic system light, suggestion: check under the seat there is a yellow wire coming out of the ECU that is touhed to chasis ground in order to retreve the trouble codes, the wire may be pinched and contacting ground, causing the light to flash codes.

Actually leveling the motor is slightly incorrect, if anything tip the unit more forward raising the back end higher to catch more oil as the dipstick fill tube is at the front of the engine

I've got the 310x and want to take the bushing out and grease it but there was a comment on your thread saying the spring had to be compressed first and he had to buy a $200 part so I'm nervous now as to what he meant..

On my 2014 Ultra 310x my manual says I can use 20/50w it's 115 degrees in Vegas. Can I use a Valvoline 20/50w VR1 oil? Ty...

Did you have any issues prying out the elbow, I undid my bolts and clamps but the exhaust is like is stocked together?

Hi Lester, Mine came off quite easy but Im sure that some of them can be stuck, I would tap light around it maybe spray some wd40 or something to help then pry a bit carefully slowly

Blown oil seal in the supercharger maybe. If it were a turbo, I'd say make sure the oil return line is clear.

hello sir In the manual it looks like the arrows go towards the front of the ski? Was your original filter may have been in backwards?

People need to be aware that the dampener assembly (the part with the spring) is supposed to have a compression bracket applied to it before removal. I took my pulley out on this video's advice and my dampener assembly got destroyed. $200 part. It can never decompress or it is destroyed. Appreciate the videos they helped me to get familiarized in my first year owning one. There is something critical missing here however.

You can take the bracket out from behind the pulley to keep it on the posts so the dampener does not decompress

Bro I wouldn't even fuck with them. Or take them to a machine shop. You need such small clearances when you go back together. I would leave it

Thanks for sharing the video. I had to inspect and replace my 2019 "310" exhaust filter. I was able to twist and pull to create enough clearance from the exhaust filter by manipulating the pipe short section hose connecting it to the waterbox below. Your videos helped me a lot.

You should flush the inter cooler first. If there is any salt residue in there the hot air from flushing the motor will bake it on and make it harder to flush out.

To grip my oil filter that was put on way too tightly I used one of those oil filters with the adjustable 3 claws. There was barely enough room to turn it not even 1 degree of rotation, and eventually it was loose enough to remove by hand. The end of the filter was partially crushed as a result because of how tight it was installed and force needed to remove it.

Long shot here, but I just cleaned my IC out it had milky oil substance in it quite a bit, my question is blow by , should there be any or ? 2011 ultra

Hi this milky substance is normal not sure why it happens but clean yearly is the best or every 6 months if you want it perfect all the time depends on use etc, but probably clean the IC yearly

thanks for all these. I ended up going too tight so I backed off to the next holes and now shes only wobbly at the tilt mech and where tilt mech connects to the base plate there is 2 large nuts I didn't want to over tighten that. either way it was fun to wrench on it and a way to re lube stuff. I also found you dont have to remove handle bars to get this done. use tilt to get at the 4 bolts. hardest part is getting the crash pad on.

All you should have to do is pump a little grease now and then. No jacking up of the wheels. Wheels spin when your pulling your trailer and grease will spread on it's own.🤦🏻‍♂️

Hey boss, do you happen to still have a Kawasaki 310 or Kawasaki 300? I am wondering what color are your wires that go from The wire bundle down to the rear area of the intake manifold? Also, what color are the wires that go from The wire bundle down to the water temperature sensor on the intercooler? I purchased a 2014 that was completely disassembled including the motor and everything was running okay for the first 30 seconds on the first garden hose run however it started to lightly rev up and down, trying to find and equalize the idle speed. Every time it would rev down it would be slightly lower until eventually it would die out. It was as if something was going on electronically and could not figure out where to set idle. I had the two blue wires from The wire bundle connecting into the intake sensor and the other ones with the same connector type going down to the intercooler. I believe I had that incorrect

Do you recommend leaving the Supercharger pulley cover off of the ski so that it is easier to rinse down and inspect? Obviously, making sure that all wires are secured and not able to physically make contact?

Yes just leave it off and if riding in salt water rinse to pulleys front and back sides with fresh water air out well seat off or after rinsing engine bay with fresh water position a strong Dan to air out and dry

I have not changed a belt yet but you will need to slide the engine forward for that also contact the guys on Green Hulk Kawasaki forums as they have great information on belts etc etc

Hi, got ultra310lx 2015my. Boost doesn`t show up on display but any errors. Supercharger works fine, but acceleration works good up to 90km/h and than accelerate slowly up to 99km/h and stop accelerating. Should go up to 108km/h (67mph). I checked all hoses and clamps they are fine. Just asking because maybe you or someone u know had some issues like me. Best regards man, thanks for your videos!
