My cousin has a shoulder sling his name is big boss

Make sure the casualty is supporting the injured arm with their other hand at all times during application. Forearm should be kept straight at 90-degree angle, hand flat and sling should cover the hand only to the tip of pinky finger but not the fingers so you can check blood circulation at a 10-minute interval by squeezing their fingertips for 5 seconds (blood should return within 2 seconds). If it's too tight, loosed the sling and retie. Make sure the sling is secured by twisting it properly at the elbow before tucking it in (or using safety pin, even tape works). Knot holding up the sling should be tied above the hollow of their collar bone.

Left the ER yesterday diagnosed with a shattered shoulder/arm and torn rotary cuff. The cheap sling given to me is so ineffective. This sling looks like it would work while being more comfortable. I'm using the t-shirt method with an extra tie added. Don't think I can do this by myself yet good to know and share.
