If I had not just watched this tonight, and if the necessary credit cards and Rod Sterling cameo was inserted in, I would’ve thought this was the real thing. I’m surprised how many films other film students made with this episode as a base, but honestly, I think yours is the best. I hope the students all did good things after this.

Great observation. Perhaps being of Japanese origin it might have played into their culture? Mighty gaps in logic for sure. I recall they were writing scripts the night before we shot the early episodes, and even after editing they added dialogue to simplify plot lines that were not spelled out for kids.

Don't be, I knew what I was getting myself into. I got to direct 2nd unit, a great experience working with crocodiles. Sadly a particular lovemaking sequence was deemed to sexually arousing when inter-cut with a croc attack. Oh well. Got to meet some wonderful actors. The director was a little out of his depth sadly.

He believes a man is measured by his wealth - because he has some. It's not true. The measure of a man is in his character. That makes wealthy people quite nervous because poor people can't afford to be decadent. Character and personal wealth are inversely related.
