Love your POV videos driving the mountains! Than you
I used to run lerourneau's in the 80s at Laconner Washington. We had a dirt yard. We used to build 6 section rafts in 3 hrs of tide..we didnt have skids we had a puling bulkhead we dump right off the edge. 72 bundles in 3 hrs in the dirt. It wss a pretty wild ride..now i run dozers and excavators but i miss thoes da.

Did you work with old " 280"? Delivered logs there for years . Sad to see they closed up in the past yr
@mitchmcdonald4203Ай бұрын
@@104bigTruck as a matter of fact i did work with 280 and Moe. I was the kid that ran the 3rd Letourneau. 280 and Moe were both really good guys..

Man I miss doin this in the Sierra Cascades, you cant explain how gnarly steep some of that is. I did it for about 10 years and even though I do miss it, Im man enough to admit I dont have the desire to push the limits required anymore. Its a crazy fun and mentally taxing job, I salute all those fellas out there in the hills!

Why is it so hard for modern "retro" campers to look like this on the inside rather than have cheap crappy fake wood and counter tops with modern looking appliances? This is so so so much nicer and classier

My good friend has one he's living in now while he and I are building his Off Grid home/property. It's the exact same floor plan as yours though not restored like yours. Tell me.... Is the heater/furnace original style? Is that what they came with? His is gone and open space at that location. He has the same dinette seating as this one, missing the table. No front couch either. That polish job you did here is AMAZING! He attempted, quickly and just a "gee-wizzer" job on it but this one... WOW! Did you do the restoration yourself? Regardless, very well done! What do you have as an AC? 13.5? 15K? How was the wiring pulled? Congratulations on a beautiful trailer sir! Now time to get a "Resto-Rod" truck to match!!
