Used my "APEMAN LC650 True 1080 Projector" a few times, i really like it, with it's softer image, and the contrast is good for an LCD, i prefer it to my 3 DLP's, 2 died, , , i'm using an 8ft throw, but i have noticed that when i connect a USB drive and play movies that way , the GPU struggles and it drops a few frames here and there, it is worse when there is a full screen pan, the scrolling end titles judder BAD !!, , , , Now using my 3mtr HDMI cable with the LC650 , No dropped frames, works perfect !! I am using my Acer 1080 laptop to play the videos through HDMI, i use VLC but also like MPC-HC (Media Player Classic), because it has a 20 second buffer, and am using it with +15 contrast that works perfect with the LC650 Do not get a DLP projector, , ,they may last a few hundred hours, but they will die !!, , the 1080 2x3 cm DMD chip has 2,073,600 microscopic wibbly wobbly square shaped mirrors that pivot, because they are physical moving parts, they fail dramaticly, , thousands of dead pixels, , ,also with my Optoma DLP, when i dart my eyes left and right, there are RGB vertical striped line artifacts - USELESS !! when you view a 72" display at 5 meters, 1080 will look the same as a 720, because of what the eye can resolve at that distance, , that goes for 4K aswell, there is an optimum distance for each resolution, if you go beyond it, the res will go down
