If you are not interested or passionate about Civil Engineering, then it is your matter. Don't de-motivate other people. You don't have exposure then it is not important for you to show negativity. Have you ever heard about BIM sectors who are paying in lakhs to their employees?

Everything depends on our mindset. If we keep on thinking from starting there is no opportunity, then we could find no scope. I am also a Civil Engineer and I have my own consultancy. I provide architecture plan, structural design, interior design, estimation for home loan and also execution services like BBS, Billing, etc. Think properly before speaking about anything. Many people are also talking positive about this branch on youtube like jobs in BIM sectors, etc.

I do understand that civil engineering is a daunting field but according to my personal experience and opinion, I do firmly believe that most of the points/problems pointed out by the narrator in this video by doesn’t pertain to all working spheres/ industrial set ups. Join a client or consultant group and you shall relish the perks of being a civil engineer and moreover enjoy resolving the pesky challenges on a daily basis , work life balance is certainly a pressing issue in majority of Indian companies but it’s not as horrendous as narrated in this video, At least not in major conglomerates with well furnished policies to uplift the work culture. It depends on individual companies, engineers and nature of work, civil engineering is not as awful as mentioned in this video. Have a look at my videos you’ll understand , every field has its pros and cons, there are industries that provide gym, air conditioned office, officer’s clubhouse, pool and other amenities like company hospital, insurance along with furnished accommodations and leave no stones untuned to make you feel complacent. IT/CS field has strict deadline, strenuous working hours and mentally taxing objectives, grass is always greener on the other side, at the end of the day it depends on the individual, if you’re availing substandard working culture then you’re at fault to compromise and settle down with which toxic and exploiting companies at first place. True mai khud job se preshan hokar ghar me abhi baitha hu duty ka koi limit nahi hoti hai isme subah 7:30 me niklne ke baad rat ko 11,12,1 ya 2 se jyada ho jata hai mai frustrated hu sone ka bhi time nhi milta hai khana idhar udhar ka khane ke baad bimar baith gye ghar me koi puchne wala nahi kam chhod diye hai 😢
