I noticed that on your binder you have 2 different wt of threads. Is this a good habit to use for machine embroidery?

I came from her crafty class. I so enjoyed it. I was trying to find out what Sue has been up to recently but her fb page has no recent posts and I couldn’t find a website. Enjoyed this podcast!

It was so nice to hear that Sue is still sewing and enjoying it! I was the young mom she was teaching through Viking in the late 90s when I bought my first machine when I tired of waiting for others to construct the garments I smocked for my children. Now I have an empty nest and I have jumped back into sewing. I am sewing for myself and my daughter and two sons. I’ve moved from Heirloom Children’s clothes to runway inspired reproductions. It’s the most fulfilling hobby I could ever imagine.

They sure are cute! Wish they were machine embroidery!! I printed them off hoping my granddaughter will be interested in doing some next time we craft together. ❤

This promo trying to be country makes me not want to attend this year. I’m very disappointed.

We're sorry to hear that. The bag has a "Western Chic" vibe, but you can certainly make it without the lace overlay if that's the deal breaker for you. The outer "frame" can be cut as one full piece or you can showcase another fabric within the frame instead of the lace. We will discuss all this on NYE! I hope you'll still join us.
