It was so nice to hear that Sue is still sewing and enjoying it! I was the young mom she was teaching through Viking in the late 90s when I bought my first machine when I tired of waiting for others to construct the garments I smocked for my children. Now I have an empty nest and I have jumped back into sewing. I am sewing for myself and my daughter and two sons. I’ve moved from Heirloom Children’s clothes to runway inspired reproductions. It’s the most fulfilling hobby I could ever imagine.

They sure are cute! Wish they were machine embroidery!! I printed them off hoping my granddaughter will be interested in doing some next time we craft together. ❤

This promo trying to be country makes me not want to attend this year. I’m very disappointed.

We're sorry to hear that. The bag has a "Western Chic" vibe, but you can certainly make it without the lace overlay if that's the deal breaker for you. The outer "frame" can be cut as one full piece or you can showcase another fabric within the frame instead of the lace. We will discuss all this on NYE! I hope you'll still join us.

If this was streamed on youtube, why can't I find it? I want to see that tutorial, not phone cases.

do you use one or two layers of stabilizer on the bottom of the towel?
The candy corn place mats are so cute. I plan to make them along with a matching table runner. Thank you.

I crochet with sewing thread, small flowers and doilies etc. I discovered this thread on the Sulky website (Love the lightweight of this thread for small flowers) and found your video on brushing it out. I can Totally see crocheters who make small Amigurumi using this thread and brushing it out for an actual fur effect on their animals!!! Wow! That would be Awesome for them! I may even try it on my own flowers to see how it looks, like those brushed fake fur flowers. Thank you for showing this.
