This is the one at Billard Airport. NE Fairchild & NE Strait in Topeka.

Migh5 saw a STH10 after the crossing of the railroad but it was not sounding great siren overlapping😊

They have the older ones in LA, no longer in use unfortunately. The older version doesn’t rotate in circles it just goes side to side.
@J19_vlogger7420 күн бұрын
That high pitched 3T22/2T22(?) sounds epic. If they made a modern 3T22DC or 2T22DC it would probably sound like that.
@TheMatsushitaMan21 күн бұрын
Dang, that dying 2001 absolutely TANKED in pitch Was it still winding down at 3:36?
@ImEpic85421 күн бұрын
Idk why, but it sounds like a B&N Mobil Directo.

Any chance you can re upload your old siren photo video that had photos of a bunch of stuff? I remember Topeka & Olathe being in it.

Nice! I recorded one last weekend, but it failed. But at least I got an ambience of it!

If I heard this in the distance, I'd probably think it was a 2001-130 with a broken rotator.

Great one! I’ve been trying to find a Model 2 in Pomona for a while now as I was told there was one. Any idea where it is by chance? I’ve found this one and 3 2001s but not the Model 2.
@jayhawk292 ай бұрын
It’s behind the city shop at 200 Jefferson St. streetview shows a Darley Model 2 but it was replaced with a FS Model 2 a few years back.

2001-130s are not bad sirens, so I'll assure you that the 2001-130 might be able to cover the same amount as the Thunderbolt or maybe even more.
@NathanielJackson19814 ай бұрын
Ironically that siren is still mounted across from Quincy Street Station at 818 SE Quincy. However it is no longer powered due to the new 2001-130 on Monroe and 9th.
