In what ways were Ian, and Steven a victim to toxic masculinity? In fact the Brigadier was called out in the Invasion, and by Liz Shaw. I think it is silly how the show would rather have a character who is called out for calling Sarah Jane 'old thing' while also have stories where the female companion is the only female character(The Mutants, The Ark in Space, Revenge of the Cybermen, Planet of Evil, Pyramids of Mars) and if there is a female character, she'll either be overshadowed (The Seeds of Doom, Genesis of the Daleks) or be an extra(The Android Invasion, the Face of Evil, the Masque of Mandragora). Why doesn't Jamie see them as sexual objects, because he's a character from a family show. Still, I would rather have a strong young male companion (mentally or physically) or a male companion with a character arc than a male companion getting dragged, looking at you Ryan.

Bill was one of my favorite companions...I go back and forth between her and Rose as my favorite. And Nardole...I was so happy to see his return. Capaldi was pretty good. Sadly, I didn't appreciate him at the time until the very end....it took me rewatching it a couple of years later to finally enjoy his whole story and to truly appreciate his acting. He was so much better than Jodie Whitaker. I am unsure of the newest incarnation... I don't have Disney+, and I refuse to get it for one show.

I just wish they'd move on from the cardboard-cutout flash animation stuff and hire a proper animation studio to do proper cel animation. Even if it comes of looking a bit anime-ish, it would be a million times better than the barely-above-south-park quality stuff they've been putting out. Can you imagine Doctor Who in the Bruce Timm Batman Animated style? That would be epic.

The Eighth Doctor and Charley are really great together, they went to such strange places. The web of time arc is an incredibly satisfying plot line and does the companion falling for the Doctor far more successfully than the whole revival.

Of the over 2 dozen Modern Era Doctor Who Companions, Bill won me over in just 1 Season to be a Top 5 Modern Era Companion of The Doctor. 1 thing I love about Bill is that she basically is the character created to ask/point out every fans question made since 1963, & Capaldi is the perfect Doctor Who to address them in a comedic way without fully explaining them to still leave some mystery to the mythos of the series.

My fav series/companion. My attachment to Bill is what makes Twice Upon a Time so impactful for me, coz I treasure any extra moments I get with her... it rly feels like it's giving me space to grieve the loss of her. The line 'thank you both for everything that you were to me' is my fav line of the whole show. My criticisms of Moffat fall away in series 10. Like, he is very problematic, but I can only conclude that he tried hard to learn and do better.

Oh my god I miss Capaldi, and I miss Bill. I wish we'd had 2 seasons of Bill with 12 instead of 2 of Clara... I know that would have upset 12's story arc, probably, but I don't care - Bill and 12 were ice hot!

Still insane we don't have a full LEGO Doctor Who game. Imagine a story where the Toymaker escapes and gathers all the Doctor's foes and plays a game with all the Doctors and Companions that doesn't have to worry extensively about continuity because it's LEGO!

I also think Ian Chesterton was also a great male role model too. I would love to see your views on him too if you wanted to make some more videos like this. Love Jamie and he was always been one of my favourite companions. Also, in one of the expanded universe books 'The Wheel of Ice', Jamie is shown as being accepting of gay people and has no problem with one of the people who he meets being a gay man; very progressive for someone from the 18th century. I also think the interaction at 11:47 could be interpreted less as Jamie being sexist and more as him and Zoe being like brother and sister and wanting to tease her. Great video!

I’ve been coming up with some new Dalek ranks and colour schemes for the new RTD era. I’m mostly using the time war design but in different colours and I’ve been establishing different divisions for the new Dalek empire along with a supreme council. Here’s the following: Military division Regular Dalek drone Dalek technician Dalek pilot Dalek commander Dalek General Special weapons Dalek Science division Regular scientists Geneticists Intelligence division Assassins Purge Units Inquisitors Intelligence officers I’m also adding Royal guard Daleks and the emperor as well. Supreme council Dalek supreme Chief scientist Chief intelligence officer Inquisitor General
