Where do you get the replacement drawstring material?

It's the original one. It had just been partially pulled out, so I took it all the way out. I think I've seen elastic strings where they sell sewing materials, but I might be wrong.

The fabric store has drawstrings on a reel, you can buy the whole one or just a half yard.

i just got my first pair of pointe shoes yesterday and this happened i am so mad

Abi Kikta, With my moms help we fixed it. Take a thick needle or something you can tie floss too, then move the needle all the way through where the draw string is to push it out. Then you want to pull the string out. Then you want to re thread the shoe, by take the needle and tying the elastic on to it. Have someone hold the end that's sticking out, and then you can tie it again!

If you cant get it out, you can find where it is and cut a small slit to get it out.
