Get a separate number only for banks; don’t use your name for the new number, use a family name, or use your imagination.😅 most companies don’t care who’s paying the bill; most wireless providers offers SIM lock, you are not use it. Lock your SIM so it can’t be ported. I know Verizon, AT&T, T-Mobile, and even Visible offer it. Protect your SIM.

I love capital one! Started with the platinum, then quicksilver has $1,100 limit, Venture one $5k limit and venture rewards $12k limit - never had any issue. Never asked for credit increases they do it on their own

I've had the Capital One Platinum for over 15 years, opening it when I was about 19 or 20. It started as a secured card with a $500 deposit because I had little to no credit history. It took 11 years for them to unsecure the card and return my deposit. By that time, my credit score was in the high 700s, and my income was around $85K. In 2024, they finally increased my credit limit to $2,000, but it’s still my lowest-limit card. I now have 12 other credit cards with a total credit limit of about $150,000, a few of them which have limits exceeding $20,000. I know I’m stuck in their lower-tier bucket from applying as a teen but honestly don’t see the point of getting another card with them.

In order to apply for Revenued Card, you have to have over $10k revenue per month. So it is not worth it for new business as they are just getting in.

So that wouldn't fit the typical person applying for the card. Kudos to them for building that long relationship and spotless credit 👏

Never able get straight answer as to why amx so low. Amx increases zero. All other accounts ( chase, citi, wells fargo) auto increase 1-2 times per year, dont even need to ask. So maybe someone here can answer the why amx so low??
