I had the opportunity to visit the Museum a couple of weeks ago for the first time. I was not aware of it...what a surprise to see the history that was on display. I really enjoyed the display on the third floor as the 1961 Elnora Basketball team picture was on display, I was part of that team. Great job to all associated with the museum. Jim Sellers, Elnora Class of 1962. Now lives in Nashville, Tn.

Wright Brothers were not the original inventors of flight they were the first that had the publicity that began the evolution of mechanical flight by human beings.

that's why you always follow your dreams, even if it doesn't make sense now.
Unbelievable. Morley bankrupt, governors and representatives dream up constantly new revenue streams to milk the hard-working public of more and more of their hard earned dollars. If they could tax the air you breathe, they would in fact do so. I bet you they are probably thinking of it right now

There was a guy selling the sign that hung in the alley next to the parking garage at the 40 garage sales in centerville today. He said they left it behind when the store closed..its sad.

Why are black men telling the story ,were they there . Its always black men telling a white storry. Why dint they talk about their own history,and how nice their neighborhoods and communities are. Lets talk about black on black murders and crime. With statistics like that . I'm shure the klan is a threat of paramount proportions.
@John-wr6yo29 күн бұрын
In the old days the klan enforced respect and decency amoung its own white community. If you were a husband and father,and wife beater who could not stay away from the moon shine ,your were warned and given an amount of time to clean up your act and show some change. If not ,you were bull whipped with in a inch of your life.

Having lived in Indiana from 1962-2008 , I can tell you all about the fascist D...one N....othing R...ecently DEBACLES ! I moved away from this ridiculous magatard mecca directly due to constant harrassment from STEVE WESTELL and CO. in Putnam county. The DNR in indiana are a bunch of self serving wannabes that just couldn't get enough attention as children. The average pleasure boater in indy has the common sense of a HOUSEFLY ! Since moving away I haven't even SEEN a done nothing recently (dnr) rabbit cop since ! I'd like to tell all , but , as is the case with most red states, INSIGNIFICANCE tells all.

There’s a book out now, Fever in the Heartland by Timothy Egan, that tells the story of DC Stephenson and the Klan in Indiana. Through most of the 1920s the KKK owned Indiana. The state government was a majority Klan, the governor was Klan and many of the federal reps were Klan. Indiana was the hot bed for the KKK. DC Stephenson said he was the law! Most law enforcement were also Klan members. This book was fascinating. I just finished it.
