My buddy had a -72 Duster while I had my -68 Dart. There is nothing like a classic A-body MoPar. Period.

So glad to see you bouncing back to health Steve!🙏slowly but steadily! I love those ss! I remember as a teenager in the 70s in Puerto Rico my Dad’s cousin bought one exactly like that one! I believe he bought it brand new in 69! And till this day he still owns it! He’s a retired teacher.

Hey Steve it’s good to see you again. When I was young and dumb I owned a 70 Cuda mine was a 340 convertible lemon twist yellow black top and interior. It had the hockey stick decal on the side. Cool car. Didn’t keep it long Probably a good thing

I've never figured out what happened. 68 and 9s had a beautiful musclecar shape, and then they decided on the squashed vw bug look.

I was about to buy this car off Hemmings. I noticed the 426 Hemi Badges on the hood. It's a steal at 55 grand. Even with the 426 Hemi crate engines. Then he popped the hood which shows a 440. What a fraud.

Nice car. Actually ALL 1969 Mercury Cougars had the big block shock reinforcements. Every one of them. ALL Cougars were V8s. Only performance Mustangs had the BB shock towers.

I have a similar car but is green body, green interior , green vinyl top Rochester 2bb carb A/C Bench seat 3 on the column converted to 4sp Hurst shifter I love it and it fun to drive. It only get 11 mpg. But I drive it kinda aggressive around town. Highway top speed, 65mph, about 3,000 rpm. It can go faster but I don't Excellent video, I like the technical parts, like gear ration, and how many made. There is not that many around compared to all the cars they made. Have a nice day

9:32 it gets even worse for old chevys. You fill one tank with your debit/credit card, hang up the pump, turn the truck around and try to re run your card and it declines. and declines again. you have to tell your bank to let you buy gas 3 or 4 times in a day. if you dont they'll shut off your card because they think its been stolen and the thief is filling up their car and their buddys car on your card... big PITA. ford def had the better idea here...
