The 2 jumps at the 23 second mark I could've sworn I hit recently. I didn't see any carpets. I wonder if they look similar or if the carpets and the wood is gone now. It's on my 3rd most recent shorts video

Cool video! Thanks! I’m thinking of taking a trip up to Globe to do the same trail, next month. I’m a runner though, hoping I can accomplish this one! How long did it take you get down to the bottom?
@petahwil2 жыл бұрын
Are you trying to loop it because that would be really long it took us probably 30 minutes to get down icehouse with stops and such
@josephwastaken71042 жыл бұрын
@@petahwil I’m hoping to loop it from the bottom to the the top and back out. I’ve been looking on Google Earth and I’ve seen and small little pull off area just before the trail begins. From measuring it out with Google earth, it’s about 8 miles total. Now I’m no stranger to running for an hour or 2 at maximum, but this seems to be rather steep which is a concern for me. I just don’t want to initially bite off more than I can chew. Thanks the reply 🤜
@petahwil2 жыл бұрын
I don't know what you plan on looping but yeah it is steep. If you have Strava I would map it out and check the elevation.

We didn't climb we shuttled since we had so many people I would recommend shuttling. If you plan on trying to climb I would get there as early as possible and your a savage haha..

Nice. I wonder if there exists a preferred sequence in which to ride all the best trails there in one continuous go... something at least 20 miles or more long? If anyone has a link to some .gpx data that would be great.
@petahwil3 жыл бұрын
I would probably take the long loop around just stay as far to the sides as you can. Then when you get back head up kim's climb, climb up northstart go down the back side loop back to the enchanted forest and up to kimurel's hurl. Take that back down and head to the parking lot would be a good ride

Having recently solved my own squeaking brake problem, I highly recommend www.chainreactioncycles.com/hope-tech-3-e4-brake-no-rotor-/rp-prod185567 together with their www.chainreactioncycles.com/hope-floating-disc-brake-rotor/rp-prod145730 (they ship to the USA). I sized up to 180mm rotor from 160mm also. You might already be 180mm or larger.
