Its not a problem they brought him back after SA2. I personally think there was TON of ways to handle his character development. The problem is that Sonicteam was afraid to write any character development for any character after SA2. Not only Shadow. Sonic 06 character writing (was decent imo) was their last swan song and after poor fan acceptance of this game they for some reason decided its BECAUSE of that story/plot/ and character development and not because of broken unplayable levels. I'm seeing some positive changes, and I want them to be applied to all characters, not only Shadow.
