A year later, I'm watching this video for ideas. In a few days, planning to build out more shelves similar to the one in the video and build out a long workbench underneath. Planning to add some LED lights under the shelves and a retractable 3-way cord under the workbench. Thanks again for your ideas to help me out - Denver, Colorado

I have this as a backup / secondary to a 28-inch ariens gas blower. Of course I tested it a few times by itself to see how much snow it could move under a single charge under various conditions. During a moderately heavy 3" snow storm it was able to do about 70% of my 10 car driveway. For 3" of lighter snow it did the entire driveway. Added benefit - my teenage daughter enjoys using this snow blower and helps me get the more difficult parts of the driveway cleared with it, while I use the bigger gas one for the bulk of the work during heavy snow.. The most I have used it on is about 6" of moderate weight snow between the cars and it did well. It stalled once or twice, but given the weight and depth of the snow I was very impressed with it. For a smaller two or four car driveway where you don't generally have to do more than 6" of snow on a regular basis, this would be more than sufficient.

For price and convenience this thing is worth its weight in gold to me so far. It’s also easy to breakdown and store on the wall so doesn’t take up floor space.

Please explain why you didn't check the battery life (the 3 green lights) at any time in this video? In the manual that came with my new machine it says do not run the battery fully out. It says to recharge shortly after green light goes to 2nd light. Please someone explain what is the proper way to run & then charge batteries so they last.
@Cprundell0910 ай бұрын
Lithiums can run to zero normally. I guess the manual also says that you shouldn’t leave them on the charger all year as well. I have done all the above and not had any issues.

@@Cprundell09 Thx live on a corner lot and have a lot of sidewalk and a fairly large driveway think I may need an 80volt blower?
@Cprundell09 Жыл бұрын
@@leanidis300 I’m on corner as well wife decent amount of sidewalk but not much driveway. I would look on Amazon for the used blowers they are basically brand new just returned. I like ego for a lot of stuff but they are expensive and for snow I get here I went the cheaper route. My driveway only fits 4 trucks max and side walk is like 50 yards if that helps. I complete it on one set of battery’s. Again the battery’s are very cheap so adding another two would be like 120 bucks.
@Cprundell09 Жыл бұрын
When get towards 700 dollar price though you can’t beat gas for a bigger driveway that’s why I thought 200 was a steal on this and would only be in it for 320 if got extra battery’s
