Thank you for a quick, cute tutorial on how to creatively use these markers! I fell in love with a gorgeous bullet journal but I have never used one before so I’m hoping you have a tutorial on how to get started in Bullet Journaling. 🤗

Jen I feel like we are sisters & just don’t know it 😆 you explained SO well, literally exactly what is happening in my brain re planning, receiving & recalling info, etc. NOT nerdy, but aren’t all of us planners a bit nerdy? 🤓😍🤩 lol

there is a ring system called Moterm, theres 2 'bolts' that connect the ring assembly to the cover. and you can switch out the ring assembly to a bigger/smaller ring size by unscrewing those 2 bolts. its similar to filofax but filofax doesnt sell the ring assemblies and filofax is difficult to switch out the rings... theres a few videos of people making their own custom size 'filofax' using Moterm rings using pre-made covers or making the covers themselves. i love both the rings and disc systems for sure

This is amazing!!!! I asked this question over on the makselife page but I would like to ask you as well. I’m really considering Makselife planners and I’m wondering if it’s too late to jump in to the 2022 planner? It’s late august and I’d just have to ignore the first 7 months. Would I be better off getting an undated? The pricing right now on the flagship is amazing. Also, when do the 2023 planners drop? Thank you for any suggestions and help! Also do you have two separate planners and one is horizontal and one is vertical? I can’t decide between the two! Also, your positivity is unreal! What is your secret? Higher power? For real though, where do you get your fuel for positivity?
@DarianPlans2 жыл бұрын
Hi Donavan :) Thanks so much for your kind words. You can totally get the undated planner or get the flagship and some dates stickers and redo the other months. Our 2023 planners are launching in October if you want to wait. I personally have both the horizontal and vertical and use them for different things.

Wow I have a Filofax and a money saving envelope wallet, that’s it I don’t even use a purse, my pens are in a case on my desk, this must be a young girls thing, for me that’s way to much stuff I would feel like a hoarder, maybe it’s an American thing, all I know is the only stickers I have are for my 4 1/2 year old granddaughter, who knows
@carriebartkowiak3 жыл бұрын
I'm 50 years old and have more stickers than what Darian showed here. I even print and cut my own. It's not a "young girls" thing nor an "American" thing. It's a "I'm a grown woman and can enjoy what I want regardless of what anyone else thinks, regardless of how far down their nose they try to look." But hey, maybe you're actually a nice person and just completely inept at communication which renders you only capable of sounding like a snotty judgmental old crab, who knows.

PS another great source for discbound accessories is #TheCollectedPlanner. I recently purchased their “Champagne Gold” aluminum discs which are gorgeous! Lighter gold than other brands I’ve seen. They also have lovely clear frosted dividers and covers, among other things.
@calisongbird3 жыл бұрын
Just one correction at 3:00: the discbound system as a concept is not new. The first disc system was invented and patented in 1948 by Atoma. You can read the history of the disc system on Wikipedia under “disc-binding.” However you are correct that the ring system has been around longer. I believe Filofax was originally founded in 1921.
