@@nagoston01 nothing farther from the truth, Gigi Ballista was from Padova, my city. An area where the word mafia, in the sixties, was completely unknown to the common man. His accent is so thick and distinctively north eastern that no Italian could ever associate it with Sicily

Gigi Ballista parla in italiano, con voce roca e sfiatata, gesticolando molto e con un fare piuttosto aggressivo e minaccioso, sia nell'atteggiamento fisico che nel modo di parlare, e probabilmente queste sono caratteristiche che, nei film in lingua inglese, vengono associate ai mafiosi.

L'attore Gigi Ballista non aveva problemi dovute a malattie alla gola.Era un attore che aveva QUEL timbro(se così si può dire).Aveva cominciato a recitare primi ruoli a teatro,ma,poi,causa quella voce ha dovuto interpretare ruoli di caratterista.Questa è una trasmissione ironica per far capire che tutti abbiamo una laringe,corde vocali,ecc...ma la natura...Comunque video divertente.

Aveva una voce molto particolare. A me piace molto.

Gentile e simparico Mr.William,Il finale della trasmissione è carico di ironia.Ballista dice quanto è difficile rimanere per giorni a cavallo per "girare" una scena,ma Del Monaco gli dice:Bravo,ma lei non deve cantare a cavallo,mentre io devo stare tre ore in scena e cantare dei Sib e dei Do.Ballista replica ancora: provi lei a fare un primo piano "muto" di 20 minuti!!! Hanno fatto questa scenetta(ovviamente tutta preparata) per far capire che tutte le gole sono fatte allo stesso modo...ma la natura fa anche brutti scherzi.Un caro saluto,Bruno

@@道-p2e La Teaviata was not so well suited for him. Pippo or Raimondi were better in this opera. Mario sang Alfredo only a few times and of course did his best in an opéra a bit too light for his voice.
