Where is Carlsberg? Google maps doesn't have it, and Mom told me it was named for her great uncle Carl. (Possible given times and dates, but...) So I'm trying to find out about the place.

I remember the Glas boys taking us across to Loring when I was 18. My first drink in a bar lime vodka fizz as I recall.

I enjoyed this laid back video as through blogging I have met a former resident of Esk. His name is Keith and his blog is called "Hiawatha House". I noticed that the narrator refers to former Esk families - including "the Kleins" or "Klines". Keith was one of them.

I just want to say to anyone who was participating in the vandalism of the cemetery “ A Pox on you”! Desecrating a person’s resting place is an abomination!

Picture this for a moment. An advance election poll was held yesterday in the village. A mere 28 ballots were cast. The current sitting mayor Brad Miller stood in the building and began to protest votes by individuals he knew wouldn’t vote for him including the ballot of the man running against him.

I miss this place. I used to visit family here a lot while growing up, haven't been for over 20 years. My dad Larry and my uncle Wayne grew up here. My dad passed away in 2016, but uncle Wayne still lives there. Hope I get to go see him soon. Thanks for the wonderful video, it brought back a lot of great memories.
