I've rode on amtrak countless times, he's just delivering needed cars. Canadian national does it for amtrak also. He's just delivering amtrak cars that are needed, they all help each other on the rails.

They are service engines, usually adding or taking cars in or out of a long train. All those cars don't go to one place nor are they all hooked up at the same place.

Great catch of the BNSF Railway track geometry test car train out doing its business! Probably checking on the track. work done around there lately. Many railfans would be very jealous of you getting to see it in person. 😂😂 The trains won't be blowing their horns through here like before but the the passenger trains, especially the Surfliners, will possibly be going faster. There was talk of 110mph being a goal here instead of 90mph but time will tell. Either way it's still a great spot to watch the trains. I really appreciate these updates. Like you said, the progress on the entire project there is amazing. A fall completion date seems reasonable based on your videos. It's going to look nice for an industrial area. There's a lot of green space. That's awesome. Thank you again for the great update!

Yes, the original building there was Safeway. Also World's Fair, Moskatels, Michael's ... and that parking lot was the site of an amazing traveling carnival in the sixties. The most fun to ever hit La Mirada. 😂

It’s looking pretty good. It’s weird that it used to be a 4 Way Intersections & At Grade Railroad Crossings. Now it’s Grade Separated, it’s Super Important.

Bridges is Very Important, cause it Saves Life’s, Ease Congestion, Eliminating Delay Bottlenecks, Saving Time & Safety Travels especially with Emergency Vehicles. Train Horns will no longer be needed cause Railroad Crossings is Gone for Good & the Traffic Signal is moved to a different spot. Cause there’s always been Accidents & Gate runners ignoring Railroad Crossings get killed by a Train. Plenty of Space for Business.
