Addiction is one tough, tough road. Self medicating for reasons that other properly raised people with a good brain do NOT understand! Next, If your lucky to get clean, find the perfect shrink, get your head somewhat right and steer clear of self medicating, you’ll be maybe 65%-70% whole. That is a whole lot better then using everyday just to try and find some sort of normalcy!

The vibra-slap was invented in 1967 to recreate the African "jawbone" instrument sound. The jawbone was the skeletal jawbone of a zebra, which when hit, made the teeth rattle.

And to think Sammy didn’t really need VH. He coulda continued being perfectly successful doing his own thing. For Eddie to call him a worm… I mean damn. Wasn’t Sammy once one of his idols as the singer of Montrose?

As a young man, I used to have a poster of Sweaty Teddy in my bedroom. I'm talking in the 70s. Never was a fan of the Beatles. Their music had no drive. Never made me want to play air guitar. Point being, screw em. Ted rocks!!!

100% ! Fuck they inducted DOLLY PARTON ! And I'll give Dolly credit ( no knock on Dolly and what she's done excellently for years ) she at first turned them down basically telling them the OBVIOUS "I'm a COUNTRY singer! NOT a rock singer ! There are so many "artists" in there that are UNDESERVING ! It's a COMPLETE JOKE !

Oh Theodore!...get over it! When was this comment made, by Sir Paul McCartney?... I'm gonna guess, 1974 or 1975? Anyway, it was probably so long ago that nobody remembers or cares. You're lucky it wasn't John Lennon who took to criticizing your mediocre musical ability. That man could rip you a new one, like no one else could. An acid tounge, he had.

Say what you will about uncle Ted but you gotta respect him for rocking out while high on nothing but life. Growing up both my parents were bad alcoholists, leaving me with the choice to never indulge in it myself. I'm 33 now and never succumbed to alcohol or drugs, which some of my friends did. Always stayed clean. But there were many times I felt lonely and with no rockstars to look up to - until uncle Ted. He's the first rockstar who actively went against all of that, except for the ones who used to have problems and later got clean. But it's something else to never have partaken in it to begin with.

Very true.... 2 examples are the facts it took Rush so long to make it in as well, and Ted Nugent is not even spoken of.... I don’t agree with most of his opinions, but it’s not about personal politics.... it’s about rock and roll and the fans who love the music.... I’m not a fan of KISS, but I would definitely vote them into the rock hall.... BEFORE Madonna

They aren't killer players. They wrote catchy songs which is a big deal. They are barely intermediate level players.
