I have this figure 👍

Good vid, mate. 👍 I'm not having much luck with Hoth Leias, I'm afraid! 😕 I only started collecting in March and the first one I bought, her right arm was broken and the wrist peg was super loose, so I eventually bought another where her left leg is slightly shorter than her right and, when bent, her left elbow joint is quite sharp compared to the more rounded right one and kinda pokes into her sleeve. Really dis-heartening, especially for the steep prices she goes for here in the UK. Also, yeah, I've only ever watched The Last Jedi one more time since it opened! Hate that movie!

When it comes to 1/6 figures, I'm a strict Original Trilogy Star Wars guy, (with some Mando and Rogue One chucked in!), but damn, if ever there was another figure I'd be tempted by.. This is it! What a quality piece from a corker of a movie! 💯👌 Great lighting too. Could've maybe done with some extreme close-ups, but still.. Love it!

The bloody face plate is definitely the best of the three. I just wish they'd included a battle damaged cowl as well to help complete that look.

I'm going to put Jaxon's cape on this one and use the stock cape on the DX09 if it's possible.

I think I’ll still keep the preorder. Just hoping some third party neutral face plate will come up in the future. Thanks for the quick review. I like the battle damaged face, too.

Hey Chris, it's good to see you review again. I always appreciated your candid insights on all figures especially calling out mediocrity when warranted. & this figure deserves a hell of a lot of stick. Another notable issue which your 4K video & lighting highlighted for me is the fact that Keaton's eyes are not set deep enough in the cowl to create that iconic shadow look of the '89 cowl which is so prevalent throughout the film. This was proven after side by side comparisons from Keaton in a screen used cowl & the Hot Toys '89 2.0 cowl.

One of the few reviewers that made this figure look good. The face plates are picky with lighting and it's right you lit the figure just like in the movie. In fact you made the chipmunk face plate look good.

Spot on! The bloodied face plate is light years ahead of the other two. It's not just the likeness either. The expression can pass as a grin (when looking at the Joker) or a grimace (when emerging from his crashed Batwing or even after pulling a Catwoman claw out of his side). It will give you several display options.

I'm not sure if I should get this figure, I;m not to keen on the faceplates as it doesn't scream Michael Keaton to me. The DX was more like Michael Keaton with it's faceplates.

🔥I finally found someone honest and sincere with the review of this BAD version of Batman(1989). I agree, the face, the lips, the eyes, that is not Michael Keaton, I don't care if the other aspects, but man…. how can they fail by doing the face wrong? I don't understand, it is the most important part of a collection figure. I have been waiting for a year…. I also chose the basic figure, I don't plan on selling it or cancelling the preorder…. but what a fail Hottoys made with this Batman face. 🤦🏻‍♂️🤬
