Yes that was certainly a close one. I wasn’t sure if I left the controllers if the drone would stop before the cliff or if it would crash on it and lose it….. so I pressed on and decided to move out of the way in time..

It was just touching 3bf above the cliff and at the sea level in front of it, much less. It was blowing towards the sea, so the cliff reduced the wind for some 100 meters in front of it.

Flying in snow is great but you have to know to keep it short. You did fine and it could have been much worse. The Mighty Mini 2 probably even enjoyed that cushy little crash! :D

The wind was really strong at times and I don't know what the exact problem was, but the joysticks at many times were un responsive, no matter the command it did nothing! It was a good educational flight! And yes Mini 2 has proven mighty!

It is, a vast area of Greece is mountainous and see a lot of snowfall during winter. We have great trails, rivers and canyons that can be explored all year round with every kind of outdoor activity you can imagine. It’s not only islands, sea and sun…. well we have quite a lot of that, but we also are a mountainous region!
