just the other day came across the article : 'the curse of Pete Doherty' and all the people involved in deaths around him. Including Alan Wass. Yes, great hit. He died of a suspected dose of heroin. As if we don't know how drug addicts usually can end their lives. Yes, as if he was so against it, immature junkie, and it was Peter who introduced him to. He's himself well known for that habit which is hard to break, it's easy to talk to stop. But it indignated me in a way. Its sad when people, especially talented ones pass away tragically and suddenly. But it's all made up of choices. Anywat, 'curse of P. Doherty', he could have written a good song about it. :/

This version was on a totally different level. At this point Peter was amazing! Unique completely! Saw happy to have seen him on the first Babyshambles tour. Influenced my life greatly.

Spent a few days with Alan at a Somerset party a year or two before his untimely death. One had the sense he was walking on a tightrope... RIP classic troubled tragic artist.
