(1) This isn't Italian. (2) I completely agree with this, and I wish that down syndrome people could be treated as if they didn't have down syndrome.

Hi, I'm an amateur (more like semi-professional but whatever) martial artist. I will always encourage anyone to participate in classes and training, however, I cannot stress enough that it is not a good idea for everyone to participate in combat sports, as it can have negatively life-changing consequences when done improperly. For example, certain people with severe 'disadvantages' insist on fighting people without these disadvantages and end up seriously hurt. Here are some bad examples: Weight classes exist for a reason, bigger people can grapple you very easily and there's almost nothing you can do about it. Men and women should not be allowed to fight each other. Usually it ends very badly for the woman (I don't know how to write this in more inclusive terms, I apologize), I have seen a firsthand example of this and the woman got her jaw broken. People with hearing or visual impairment are obviously at a disadvantage. And there's many more but for the sake of brevity I'll avoid mentioning more examples. I will always encourage people to participate in martial arts and I want it to be as inclusive a space as possible. But please remember to stay safe, exercise common sense and above all, avoid injuring other people.

I do not understand why water in the middle ages were undrinkable. You cant brew beer with unpotable water thats why breweries are traditionally located near water sources. Now if it takes ~3 times more water p/L beer why consume so much water resource? Thinking out loud because I experienced not having running water (shortage) and drinking water was drawn once or twice a day (we boiled, some neighbors drank as was) or during the rainy season, captured directly (before we found out about acid rain) from the rain. Thinking out loud...

I only assume people with down syndrome are retarded when they act, well, retarded. If a downie acts totally normal aside from his appearance im not gonna think anything of it.

Just because someone has a disorder doesn’t mean that all symptoms apply. Yes, often they *theoretically* apply, but might be countered by other traits of a person. Yes, down syndrom does decrease intelligence, but if there‘s non-down people with 180 IQ there‘ down people with, i dunno, 170 IQ or 160. It‘s a DOWNgrade, but it never sets limits. Your local down person could always turn out to be smarter than you Your local autistic person more socially capable than you And your local adhd person more… whats a word for having a good memory? I forgot It is fine to assume, but the only thing assumptions allow you to do is to try it out. Also well put with the „Bet you didn‘t think I could swear“ as swearing in normal sentences actually is a sign of higher intelligence. (Doesnt mean that if you now start swearing it would make you any smarter)

ah yes let them work hard and assume they have to be on the same level as everbody else and when you do and they break down crying what then ? when you give them work and they cant complete it its abuse in the workplace. when you push them too hard as a trainer its abuse as a coach and you lose your license. when you push them hard and try to teach them shakespear and they dont understand people will look at the teacher and say ´´wtf is wrong with you are you neglecting this student ?'' its crazy how this woke ideoligy now tries to dismantle the protection thats build for them for a reason. people with down sydrom are not on the same mental level as poeple who arent. this is not discrimination this is the truth. thats why they need special schools and more help and less work. these systems where not implemented to harm them but for them, on wikipedia it even says that most have an iq of 50-70 or even 30-50 iq and in severe cases 20-30 iq. yes not all people with down syndrom are the same and there are exepctions of higher iqs but these are rare. iam not saying they should go to schoo lof course they should but acting like people are ill willed or even discriminatory for not teaching them shakespear is absolutly laughable or pushing them in the work space and assuming they can do as much as others. this is the same what that movement has done to women. took a protected group told everybody that they are severly discriinated against and that everybody needs to push them as hard as they can and that they should compete with men because only that shows that they are worth anything and break outnof discrimination.
