@ I will. What county do you hunt? My dad was from Tift County and I had aunts with farms in Berrien, Cook, and Colquitt Counties. I never deer hunted them but my cousins killed some nice bucks.

@ my cousin has a big produce growing operation in Colquitt, Thomas, and Grady Counties. His kids have killed some whoppers. One of them big enough for B&C but he won’t enter it. They have some land in Brooks County too and they say that is where the REALLY big deer are. My great uncle was part of a group that bought deer from Wisconsin back in the 50’s and released them along the Warrior River in Worth and Colquitt Counties because the state wouldn’t. My dad used to tell about going with them to release them when he was 9 or 10 years old. That’s why south Georgia has big deer.

Hunting in Kansas absolutely ruined my desire to hunt in my native Georgia with our dwarf deer.

Maybe in some areas of the state they are small. But both of these deer were 215lbs. I wouldn’t consider them “Dwarf” I think each state has its own level of difficulty as well as reward for getting it done. To each their own.

@ trust me, in northeast Georgia they are dwarfs. Always tell a buddy of mine in Arizona that I kill coues deer right here. Not trying to take away from your hunt.

I know people that have gone to jail for over harvesting, I don't know what the law is where you killed these two but most states only allow one buck per day,or a buck and doe but not two bucks in the same day! They did this then posted it and it went down hill from there for them.
