This is Paddy (also known as David Lane), Fiona and I would really appreciate some contact. I was a patient in Coole Hosp for many years back in 50's, 60's and early 70's and, if possible, would love a copy of Coole in the 60s.I live in Wolverhampton, UK and back in 1998 I visited the ex Hosp and, with a friend (also an ex patient), I videoed a tour of the place on the old VHS. I have since transferred to DVD which, over the years, I have been meaning to put on youtube - amazing how the years go by - I hope to do this before the year is out. Best regards

Hi Paddy, you may have known my father, Peter MacGinty? I no longer have dvds of Coole in the 60s but I could possibly mail you a quicktime movie version on a memory stick.

i really would love to have a dvd copy of this - how do l go about it? I was a patient in St Joseph's hospital throughout the 60's & recognise so many people. I even made my 1st HOLY COMMUNION in COOLE Church on 30th June 1963 & still have certificate. It breaks my heart to watch this and not have a personal copy of my past. Doctor Cullen was a very special person for patients & staff in St Joseph's Hospital. Very nostalgic & thank you for posting.

Hi Paddy, I'm only seeing your message now so apologies for the late reply. I did produce dvds of the film which were sold to raise money for the local playground, but that was many years ago. I could put the film on a memory stick for you , to download onto a computer?

Age catches up with us all! I'm sure Jack is still loads of craic. In fact, all the crew from Moate that day were mighty fun and very creative. Good memories. 😊👍

@@noahking9613 Hey Noah I didn't think for a second you were knocking the video! I get your observation, and I wonder the same things myself. It's a crazy world and probably will continue to be... I grew up in a time when a photo was only for an occasion. I have few photos and no video of me as a child but my children ( and those I've worked with) have been documented like never before so it's interesting when you say ' Will it still be here in 200 years'. It just might be. What will they make of Jack's Dream then? ;0)

@wyllieohagan @wyllieohagan We worked over an 8 week period from conception of is their story to realisation.. I love the process of seeing their ideas take flight.. they started with nothing and created a tangible thing - a film! This short is 4 years old now - they have all grown up since so it's nice to have captured them at a particular time in their lives and they were clearly having fun.
